Wholesale Information


Hi, I’m Lisa Tansley, the owner, designer, and maker behind Small Batch Soaps. I started making soap, bath, and body products as a hobby, while completing a BSc degree in Biomedical Science. I loved soaping so much, that in 2015, I decided to found Small Batch Soaps.  I love being able to combine my background in science, with my love of crafting, to create fun, unique products. Small Batch Soaps is a vegan & cruelty free company that tries to be as inclusive and conscientious as possible. We avoid the use of nut oils and other common allergens whenever possible, use recycled/recyclable packaging when possible, and always try to create products that are biodegradable and safe for our environment. We create the majority of our products from scratch, in order to have complete control over what goes into them. Our goal is to create
products that are great for your skin, great for the environment, and great to look at!


Our whipped soaps, sugar scrubs, and bubble bars are made to order. They are typically ready to ship within 3-4 days of ordering.

We have many of our bar soaps in stock, but depending on demand, or the size of your order, they may be made to order. Bar soaps are ready to ship in 4 weeks (if made to order). This is because cold process soap requires a “cure period” of several weeks to ensure the best quality product.


In order to keep product costs as low as possible, we do not offer free or flat rate shipping on wholesale orders. We do however offer free local pickup, and you can let us know if this is something that you are interested in. 

We are located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.

When ordering, please select the “wholesale” shipping option at checkout.

You will be billed separately for the cost of shipping based on the exact size and weight of your package.  This ensures that you are being charged the most accurate rate possible, at the time of shipping.

We typically ship with Canada Post, and select the most cost effective, tracked option. If you have a carrier, or method of shipping that you prefer, let us know when you place your order, in the “notes” section of checkout, or through email.


All of our products have their own minimum order requirements based on our current production means.

At this time, we do not have minimum spending requirements per order.


All of our products are carefully packaged and branded, and are required to be sold in their original packaging.

There are a few reasons for this:

Health Canada (Canada) has strict labelling requirements that we abide by. These include having a list of ingredients, weights, and contact information on all products. Although the FDA (USA) doesn’t enforce such strict requirements, we think that it is best practice to let customers know what is in each one of the items they are purchasing.

All designs are created by our company, and are exclusive to the Small Batch Soaps brand. They may not be duplicated, or sold under the name of another company or individual.

We are SO glad that you have chosen to sell our products!  But we also want our products to be associated with our branding, and want customers to be able to get in touch with us if they have any questions or concerns.

If you are interested in custom designs that you can sell as your own, let us know. We love creating custom orders that are just for you!


We carefully select all of our wholesale clients, and your wholesale account is exclusively for you, so you can sell to your customers. If you know someone that is interested in our wholesale program, have them contact us and we’ll be happy to help!
